Physiotherapy Practice
Physiotherapists are autonomous professionals holding a bachelor degree with one year compulsory internship (5 years) from the government recognized university in Bangladesh. Bangladesh Rehabilitation Council Act 2018 entitled physiotherapist as "Practitioner" and declared independent practice. Physiotherapists are entitled "Dr" to write before their names along with identity that is protected by legal proceedings. Medical Technologist (Physiotherapy) are the professionals with a 3 years diploma degree in physiotherapy from the state medical faculty of Bangladesh. Physiotherapy technician are 18 months long short course program programmed to assist the Physiotherapy Professionals. As per Bangladesh rehabilitation council act 2018, they will practice under the supervision of a "Physiotherapist".
